Duracell is committed to maintaining your trust by protecting personal data that we collect and use. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the information that we and our affiliated companies and subsidiaries (“Duracell”, “we”, “us”) collects about you, how we use and protect this information, the choices you can make about how we use this information, and how you can exercise your individual rights provided by applicable law.

Any Duracell website which links to this Privacy Policy is covered. This Privacy Policy does not cover and we are not responsible for third-party websites or applications that may be linked from our websites as described in the Links to Other Websites and Third Parties section of this Privacy Policy.

Duracell privacy practices are consistent with:

• The European Model Clauses regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from European Union member countries and Switzerland.

• Applicable country and local data protection laws. Nothing in this policy shall apply to the extent that it is incompatible with applicable data protection laws.

What information do we collect and how?

Only Duracell Procell® existing customers may register on this website. We may collect information directly from you when you, when you, as such existing customer voluntarily decide to register, to contact us by sending an email or filling out contact forms or otherwise provide information directly to us.

We may collect the following types of information directly from you:

• Identification data: ex. Name, postal address, telephone number

• Electronic location data

• Electronic identification data: email address, IP address, password

• Profession and job

• Professional contact details

• Company

• Sponsor at Duracell (Account Manager, etc)

We, our service providers, and other third parties use web server log files and cookies, web beacons, pixels, and other technologies to collect information when you visit our websites, view our online advertisements or promotions, open emails you receive from us, or use our mobile applications or other services.

Purposes of processing & legal grounds

Duracell uses personal data and/or information in the following ways:

1. Direct marketing: when we receive explicit consent to, we will process information voluntar-ily submitted to us to send you requested materials or provide information about our prod-ucts, services, . If you have requested product information or to participate in a promo-tion or competition, or if you have bought products, we may also use your personal data to provide information about products, promotions or competitions we think may be of interest to you. 1.2. Product development, customer management, testing, improvement and troubleshooting: For our legitimate interests in securing and protecting the integrity of this website, and for web-site and product development. When we receive your explicit consent to collect tracking in-formation via cookies, we also may use viewing data to analyse how visitors use the website in order to provide statistics and improve the experience of interacting with the website. 3. As permitted to meet applicable legal obligations: we may pursuant to valid legal process, such as a search warrant, subpoena, or court order, allow access to any information (includ-ing such categories of personal data) provided to Duracell, in order to comply with such pro-cess and to protect our rights and property. If warranted, we may also allow access to this in-formation in special emergencies where physical safety is at risk.

Your rights in connection with your personal data

Under certain circumstances, and as required by law you have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal da-ta we hold about you.

• Request correction of any incomplete or inaccurate personal data that we hold about you.

• Request erasure of your personal data when there is no need for us continuing to process it or you have exercised your right to object to processing (see below).

• Object to processing of your personal data where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground.

• Request the restriction of processing of your personal data to suspend the processing, for example if you want us to verify its accuracy or the reason for processing it.

• Request the transfer of your personal data to another party.

• Right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority for data protection

If you want to exercise any of these rights, please submit your request to the contacts named in the Contact Duracell section of this Privacy Statement. Valid requests will be honoured within one month of the request. This one-month period may be extended for another 2 months for complex requests with notification of the reasons for the extension to you.

You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request for access is unfounded or excessive. Alternatively, we may refuse to comply with the request in such circumstances. In addition, there may be requests that we are unable to process because of other EU legal requirements. If a request is denied, we will notify you of the reason.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access the information (or to exercise any of your other rights) and ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.

Information Security

Duracell is committed to keeping personal data secure. We have implemented technical, administrative and physical procedures designed to protect personal data from loss, misuse or alteration.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will have taken measures to protect your personal data , we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use procedures and security features designed to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Personal Data Retention Period

We will retain personal data for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Children’s Online Privacy

We do not intend to collect personal data online from children under the age of 16 or as defined by local legal requirements, except on sites specifically directed to children. On those sites, additional transparency requirements are applicable and observed.
